Wonderful Wallaby
In Wonderful Wallaby, a young bridled nailtail wallaby has been spotted by a hungry wedge-tailed eagle. Fortunately, the Mareeba rock-wallaby comes to the rescue. The bridled nailtail wallaby is found only in and around a national park in central Queensland. The Mareeba rock-wallaby is found in a small area of north Queensland.

Today I was wandering around an op shop (second-hand shop) when I saw a pile of these books about Australian animals by Rebecca Johnson and Steve Parish. I remember reading these to my toddle nephew 20 years ago. So, in the store, I read them all again 😊
