A great book from the Calvin 500 series of books that touches on all the areas that Calvin wrote about in his Institutes and commentaries/sermons.
Calvin changed the way people viewed wealth in and around Geneva. Many of the views that had long standing were changed in light of Calvins protestant views on what logically followed from the Bible.
The authors present Calvins views on various things concerning a Christians view of money, tithe, work, philanthropy; This is done while paralleling the creation, fall, redemption, sanctification with those ideas.
If you struggle with handling money, this book won't make you feel all warm and fuzzy, it will call you out and convict you and train you in the ways you should go. There is a lot of wisdom here and should set you on a course for prosperity if you follow the advice.
My notion of Calvin was that he is amazing (for a man) and these ideas presented are in keeping with that.
