Engagingly explains how glaciers and ice ages work, was written in 1956, so not current by any means, man made global warming isn’t mentioned for obvious reasons. Definitely recommend, at about a 5th grade level.

Pretty good; copyright 1956. Does not purport to have all the answers or make bold claims. Fairly neutral tone. I may use it as a 5-6-7 grade homeschool earth science supplement.
