This is a great book to read to preschoolers learning their colors in Spanish and English. I like the fact that the book has pictures of children with disabilities. It teaches preschoolers that we are all different, yet we all can learn no matter how different we are. I remember when I first was teaching my children their colors in Spanish. All my kids saw were other children, not their deformation or difficulties. My daughter is now six- years old and loves babies, so I have her read this book to the little ones. Whenever she turns to the page where the babies is she gets excited. "Awe look at the baby," she would say. And I like that because that is all she sees!

Teachers can use this book to help children not only learn their colors in English and Spanish but, to teach that we are all different in many ways, yet we all can learn. By allowing children to get used to seen children with disabilities can help them be more aware and comfortable about others.
