Skullenia #3

Wuthering Frights

What happened to Grendle The Shopkeeper? Narrowly missing a splat of ectoplasm - or Bernard, as he was more commonly known - Ronnie entered the shop to the clanging of the little silver bell. His brow furrowed as he absently scratched his cheek. Grendle the shopkeeper always came out after the tolling of the first bell. Always. Later on, the local press interviews the Skullenian residents after an incident at the a happy young couple has discovered a cadaver while taking a moonlit stroll through the cemetery. What links the strange events? Is anything else going to happen? Can I write any more of this nonsense without giving the game away? Someone's going to have find out what's going on, and in Skullenia that can only mean one Ollie and the boys have another puzzle to solve.

I was born in Cardiff, South Wales in 1967. After finishing school I, like many authors, have had a series of differing and varied jobs including working in a warehouse, a clothes factory, and as a police officer. Obviously I'll never settle anywhere because all I want to do is write for a living so work is just something that I have to do between chapters.

I'm extremely happily married to Sharon, and I have a son, who works at a games developement company, and two stepchildren and live in Kent, UK.

My novels are a mixture of the supernatural combined with a healthy dose of extreme silliness. In short I write what makes me laugh.

The books have been picked up for movie and TV development by Thunderball Films run by Mario Domina which is very exciting. Have a look at http://www.thunderballfilms.com/index...

Follow me on Facebook at "Tony Lewis Author of the Skullenia Novels" and like the page, and on Twitter @skullenia (although I don't post that often).

If you've been kind enough to read any of my books and enjoyed them, then a review would be great.

Still like the humor but not the storyline

All the loveablely odd characters from the first two books return as does the humor. The reason I rated this one 3 stars, however, is because this one seemed to take a turn into a classic storyline (with additional characters added) rather than remaining a fully original work.

Audiobook review.

I loved everything about this book: the ever-present humour, the hilarious situations, the fantastic characters, and the superb narration by Toby J. Smith.
