One of my all time favourite books. The illustrations alone consumed me for hours on end as a child.

This was my absolute favourite book to read to my kids when they were young - it's such fun to read aloud. I've been trying to find a copy to give to a close friend's child, but can't get one! Why is this not in print?!

Worth it for illustrations alone, however the story kicks ass too! Witches and ice cream men, looking beyond outer beauty, frogs living happily ever after - what more could you ask for from a children's book!
