Loved the beginning, liked the end. Annoyed with the middle - I initially really liked 苏念锦 as a character, not really sure why she went a bit nuts there. I'm hoping the second book will explain/round out her character a bit more to smooth it over. Also didn't like how the author just left random bits hanging (i.e., how does she just pick up and leave 2 different cities without packing, wrapping up her rental apartment, her job, etc) - aggravating!
