From Midnight to Moonlight

Rate this book
In this book, the author shares poetry that is full of an array of emotions. The first half of the book showcases the dark, sad, negative times of her life and the second half shares the bright, happy, positive moments. The goal of the book is to help others who have been in similar situations to not give up. Life may not be perfect and bad days will come, but if they keep moving forward, they can reach those brighter days. Speak Out Loud- Why stay silent when I can be real? Speaking on pages how things make me feel. Sharing my triumphs, my falls, weaknesses and mistakes. Why would I ever want to try to be fake? I show that I am alive, I am human, I am free. I am never going to try to hide the things that make me, ME.

I couldn't get very far into this one.
It wasn't because the writing was bad--the poetry overall was actually very good--but the messages in the poems just weren't for me.
