Rate this book
Furniture designer Tom Dixon aims to extend the use of industrial design and how it can be adapted in the home. This book shows each room in the home in at least two different ways, with a "create the look" approach that shows how industrial design can bring with it an aesthetic of colour and fun as well as high quality. Key consumer concerns such as multi-functional design, recycling and an emphasis on mobility, are addressed throughout. A comprehensive sources section is designed to help the reader access the products shown, with products to suit all budgets.

This book totally changed the way I think about functionality of products and the context in which they are used. I would recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in Product Design or Furniture Design.
