This is my favorite book of the Dear God Kid Series so far. The book describes what it means to be a friend in God's eyes, and taking time to thank Him for them. It explains that love does not run out and we must love everyone for who they are, it also explains how God intended you to have friends. This is a cute book about the importance of friends. The theme is about having friends in a way that glorifies God. This book is best for children under the age of 8, but not appropriate in public school settings. This but is an educational book about God our relationship with Him and the people he has placed in our lives. The author does a great job portraying the concept in a way that young children will understand. The verses at the bottom of the page is great, but I think the authors could choose a different translation that is simpler for kids.

There are six short letters addressed to God from the point of view of a kid. Each letter addresses kindness, love, and how wonderful it is to have friends. My toddler loves this book!

I think this is also a very sweet book. This book reminds kids to be appreciative of their friends. A fun activity students could do after reading this book would be to write letters to their friends.
