This book is a methodical journey into raising one to a few pigs. He advocates not using the drugs and commercial feeds and goes into every detail from start to finish and it is graphic. I find it interesting because the book led me to the conclusion not to raise a hog because of the necessary feed and the cost involved. I think this book is a must for someone thinking about self sufficiency and raising there own pork.
