This is the catalogue that went with a 1993 exhibit at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts on American Watercolor. It only covers the holdings of the MFA and artists who visited or lived in New England. Good descriptions of watercolors from the early 1800s to Andrew Wyeth (1942). Beautiful images and good descriptions of work by Sargent, Homer, Hopper, Prendergast and 52 other artists. The works' previous owners are also listed.
