The third installment of the Nimbin trilogy is longer than the first two, and with just as much fun, mischief and summer nostalgia, it’s still a worthwhile read even as an adult. I love how Jenny Wagner cleverly weaves in themes of growing up, having a first crush, doing what you believe to be the right thing even if it’s hard, dealing with competition and self esteem, and the relationships that we have with our long-suffering parents who just want to relax on their Christmas camping holiday, for god’s sake!
