I wanted to give this one star, because of some pretty glaring philosophical assumptions and applications. However, from a glean-what-you-can standpoint, it was well laid out and had some useful summaries and charts. The brain information was much more clearly presented than in some of the other book I've been reading. So, taken with a huge grain of salt, remembering that we are not mechanical, evolved beings but images of Christ, and read alongside more in-depth material, there is some helpful information to glean.

This book is fascinating! I'm learning about how stress affects our bodies, but even more, simple movement activities that can be done that affect the brain! It's helping with stress, focus, attention, energy, relaxation, learning. Always having been very brain-oriented and body unaware, it's been a big learning experience for me.
