Kathleen Bryant inherited a love of travel from her parents, who bundled her up for her first road trip when she was only six months old. Originally a Midwestern farm girl, she’s spent the past decades thawing out in the West, hiking its deserts and mountains, bouncing along backcountry roads, and sometimes lending a hand at archaeological sites. Journey through heaven

Took me a few years to actually start reading the text. I was so fascinated with the pictures, I simply couldn't put my eyes on the words.

Pictures are absolutely beautiful. I would just stare at them. I was left in amazement with the sheer beauty of the work that Creator had given us.

Found the book when I was cleaning my brother's workshop. If it weren't for me, it would probably be thrown away. Somewhere in Croatia. His ex was in the book business. That way this jewel came to me.

Since traveling is not on top of my priorities, this way I was there. On the other side of the world.

Dreaming through the stunning scenery brought me a lot of joy.

It still does.

Excellent overview of the very special area of the US called the Four Corners -- where the states of Arizona, Utah, New Mexico and Colorado all meet. Bryant gives a terrific description of the Native American Nations in the Four Corners including the natural places of grandeur and beauty, as well as the 1000+ year old dwellings and other artifacts not to be missed. Gorgeous photography--althought it looks like it's hard not to take great photos in this part of the world.
