Catholics considering annulment often find themselves with more questions than answers, uncertain how to proceed. Aren't annulments just Catholic divorce? Do I need to hire a lawyer? How much does the process cost?
This book is a wonderful introduction to Annulments, what they mean, how to obtain one, and why the process works the way it does. My only complaint about this book is it is very simple and basic. While I'm sure that is the intent, It left me with a lot of questions that required further theological study. On the plus side, the book did help me determine what exactly those questions were. For the average lay person this book offers more than sufficient answers and the format is easy to navigate. I would recommend this book.
To be clear, I'm reading this book for two reasons: (1) for a position I hold in my church and (2) for purposes of comparison to divorce (which is what I deal with at work).
