An interesting commentary on the readings of Edgar Cayce focusing on ancient Egypt. The readings combined with interpretations, tells of King Ra Ta who ruled before Menes. He was an actual leader who later became the myth of Ra. Isris (later Isis) was the daughter of one of Ra Ta's priests who was told to seduce Ra Ta in order to scandalize the king so he could be banished. According to the readings, the pyramids of Giza were built during Ra Ta's reign as a storehouse for knowledge and prophecy. They had captured electricity (electrical surgery), developed astounding engineering (pyramids and Library of Alexandria) and the tenets of monotheism, and were the first to declare that fair skin, blonde hair and blue eyes were divine traits. The religious tenets of this period became the foundations of the teachings of Christ, thousands of years later. Whether true or not, it's a compelling angle on history.
In this short little compilation of extracts from Cayce's trance readings, Cayce gives answers to questions that have baffled anthropologists, archaeologists and Egyptologists, the main question being: how did such an advanced civilization appear in Egypt in such a brief period of time, so brief, in fact, that it seemed to appear from nowhere, fully formed. You need an open mind to appreciate the answers given.
