This is a law text, which I purchased in order to more thoroughly understand criminal procedure as part of research for a series of books I'm currently writing. I found it thorough and informative, as well as well-written. About my only objection to the book concerns the form in which the examples and explanations were presented. I feel it would be clearer to the reader if each example was given individually, followed immediately by the explanation. As examples often had marked similarities to other examples given, with one or more differing by subtle nuances, I feel I would have derived more from them if the examples had not been presented collectively, followed by the explanations likewise given collectively.

This isn't the best exam prep on the market, but it does explain the concepts clearly. my biggest quip is that it is sometimes too quick and loose with the law and the examples are too easy.
