This book was recommended by a friend's father who found out that I had hiked the appalachian trial. Klondike Mike is interesting because Mike, a figure regarded in the ranks of Paul Bunyon because of his extraordinary physical abilities, tells his story to the author first hand. Because of this, the book gives insight into how Mike viewed situations that those around him found absolutely fantastic. It is an interesting read, and a good story. If you are looking for a fun story about the Klondike gold rush, and don't want to think to much, you will enjoy this book.
