Terrorism is continuously spreading its tentacles to all aspects of human life and thus eroding the quality of life. Hardly a day passes by without a terrorist incident somewhere or the other. It is an unacceptable affront on society, disrupting the very foundations upon which it is based. Responding to terrorism is difficult because the threat is usually not constant. What the terrorist does is kill, maim, kidnap and torture. Terrorism is not the problem of its victims or victim societies alone its impact reverberates across the globe. South Asia has been experiencing terrorist activities for a long time. Violence and atrocities on people have become the order of the day. A collective effort by the South Asian states and civil societies against terrorism is yet to be made.
