A sweet Entwicklungsroman, about a young girl (who happens to be Indian, but that's irrelevant, we'll soon find out) and an older man (also Indian, but also irrelevant). Set in (an obviously multi culti) London, the intimistic novel tells the fascinating story of the self discovery. A bit Jane Austen, a bit Edward Forster but mostly Atima Srivastava, this book brought me back into an important phase of my life and made me appreciate what I've learned so far and what I still have to learn - luckily a lot.

The title and the cover got me interested in the book. It’s a fiction. It is about an immigrant Indian woman who is an aspiring writer. She has caring family, friends and a white boyfriend named Luke. Things started to change when she met Amrit who’s also an immigrant writer. In the beginning the story was okay. But as it progressed,it got mundane.
