Dated account of a traveler exploring Corsica in the 1850s. Still holds up for the history of the island during the times of Genoa and France, though it takes some rather lengthy detours into ancient Rome and other areas not related to Corisca at all. Later stages are about his travels throgh the island (mostly the north part) in the 1850s and the people he meets. Surprisngly, deal very little with Napoleon's time growing up there.
