This is a fabulous non fiction book which dives deep into cooking and farming facts for kids. It contrasts food in the past with food today. A must read. However I thought it was borderline political. I do not wish to teach my kids that agribusiness is a bad thing. I believe pesticides are actually good and I love that modern farms and methods are so productive. This books doesn’t go too far in the Luddite direction so I am able to recommend it.
