A Bunch Of Where They Were Found And What They Might Have Unlocked. A Christmas Book edited by Thomas Hood offers a collection of Christmas tales in which a set of keys unlock a series of adventures and uncanny discoveries. The Ring, The Key of the Piano, The Key of the Strong Room, The Key of the Nursery Cupboard, The Key of the Study, and Three Keys on a Small Ring of Their Own—each tale traces the discovery or escape triggered by a key, framed by a narrator recounting youthful mischief and imaginative exploits. The stories blend adventure, mystery, humor, and moral reflection, with a Victorian sensibility and illustrations of English life. The volume sits as a curious artifact of mid-19th-century Christmas fiction, combining playful childlike curiosity with darker glimpses of human folly and resilience.
Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).
If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.

I was very disappointed with this book. The introduction and the first story showed great promise, but the book failed to live up to this. The stories were either uninteresting or I didn’t like the LibriVox narrator. And I didn’t hear anything about Christmas. Perhaps it was mentioned in the stories I skipped.
