What in the “Trapped in the Closet” Christmas edition is going on heeeerrreeeee!!!! 😩😩😩 I cannot with this series 😱😱😱
The night was anything but silent after all of the secrets were completely revealed in book two!
We were given the gist of what was going on in book one but to read about the lies and deceit in detail was next level! We had 3 sneaky links, 2 heaux’s heauxing, 1 baaatttt swinging 🎶🤣 bullets to the chest, another psycho ex with me clutching my pearls wondering what was next!😅
Quinn and Knight’s get back plans seemed to have gone off without a hitch but when Jackson came home early then Bree shows up with a lumped up forehead and Corrine’s crazy ass was hiding in the bushes I knew that sh*t was about to get real!
We thought Santa Claus was coming to town this holiday season but he must’ve stayed his ass at the North Pole and sent the ghost of get backs past in his place!! Chyyyyy let me see how this all ends!! Book 3 here I come!

Book two said, “Hold my beer” and proceeded to have me in a chokehold for the next 45 minutes. The secrets, lies, and drama that unfolded had me clutchin’ all my pearls and NOT in that way. These characters were a hot azz mess. Quinn let Jackson know the disrespect would not be tolerated. She got his azz back in the worse way and smiled the entire time while doing it. Quinn definitely showed him betta than she could tell him. If I can dish it but, can’t take it was a person, it would have Jackson’s face splattered all over it. Sir, how you gon’ dog your girlfriend out for five years then, have the unmitigated audacity to channel your inner Ken and not only be mad but, big mad when Quinn gets her lick back?!!! Insert blinking face GIF here because, he had some f*cking nerve. By the time everything was revealed, Knight was sick of everybody and he politely showed them how they would not play in his face. Knight bossed up and turned into a straight gangsta. See, it really is the quiet ones you have to watch and be careful with. Bree knew it was gon’ be on sight every time she saw Quinn so, she packed her shyt up and got the hell on. She didn’t want that smoke. And, not Corrine turnin’ into a whole stalker because, she refuses to believe Knight is no longer just not that into her. After all the shyt she did, this heffa is still callin’, texting, sending DMs, and leaving voicemails for this man when he has clearly moved on. Ma’am, I’ma need you to read the room and go sit your azz down somewhere on somebody’s couch. This author must want me to pull my hair up into an imaginary ponytail, slather my face with Blue Magic, and stand outside her house. Why you still playin with us?!!! That lil HEA was cute or whatever but, the ending still leaves the door open for more mess and drama with these characters. I’ma need you to handle that expeditiously. Book three me please!

Merry MF Chaos
If you thought book one was a hot ghetto mess then book two is a roller coaster ride with no harness. Jackson, Knight,Quinn, Corrine and Bree are experts with keeping it all in the family. The lies, deception, manipulation and violence will have your anxiety on 10. I can’t wait to read book 3 and see how the author resolves all the chaos.

More chaos 😭 This is a wild group of humans. It’s very hilarious to me that Jackson & Bree thought that them saying their sexual relationship was a business deal would make Quinn any less pissed. Let me run to the next book- Corrine is losing it.

Just when you think this series can’t get any messier, even more scandalous acts are revealed on Christmas Day.
I found Jackson and Quinn’s reasoning behind his infidelity to be incredibly stupid. Why did he of all people have to assist with her side hustle? I thought my eyes would get stuck in the back of my head from rolling them so hard at Jackson acting butt hurt over Quinn getting her revenge on his trifling self. I can definitely see some crazy in Corinne’s future. I was pleasantly surprised by Knight’s happily ever after but I’m sure that won’t be lasting for long. 😭

The drama continues with these characters and their tangled web of deceit. Quinn and Knight definitely didn't deserve the betrayal that came from those closest to them. Jackson is just delusional to think his actions were all with good intentions. Corinne just won't let go of Knight, and I see she's going to be a huge problem in the next book. Can't wait to read how things end.

I thought book 1 was a mess, but honey THIS right here! 🤯 Jackson hoeing around done caused all hell to break loose, and the ish has come to a breaking point! Quinn, girl what is you doing? You were home free! 👀 Bumping into Corrine's crazy ass, pushed her right over the edge! All the secrets and lies are revealed, and the one person who seemed to be really affected is Knight! He does something rash in the heat of the moment, and Quinn just takes that ish and runs with it! What the hell is happening right now?? My chest is heaving and my head is pounding, waiting to turn the page! The turn of events has blown my damn mind, you hear me? 🤯K.L. then you leave us breathless again, with that ending? Ma'am! Imma need you to stop playing with my emotions! 🤬 What is up with Corrine? Cause something ain't right with her ass! Knight, you better listen your intuition, that what you got it for sir! All the secrets were revealed but one person is still holding a grudge.
It’s hilarious that Bree thought by telling Quinn the real reason she slept with Jackson would make things better.

Jackson must’ve been dropped on his head as a baby. 🤦🏾♀️ Not only did he knock up his brother’s girlfriend, he was deadarse saving up money for an engagement ring for his girl by hoeing himself out to her sister. 🗣️ Boy, GTFOH! And take Crazy Corinne and Battered Bree with you. 😤
The chapter titles were Christmas carol parodies of perfection. 👌🏾 Just reading “O Come, All Ye Unfaithful”, “No Peace on Earth”, and “Jingle Bell Glock” had me cracking up with laughter. 😂

All of the characters are so messy that I'm not even sure who gets the award for most messiest! Quinn's sister is smart for leaving and knowing her limits though so this does not include her. The other characters though had my attention. I just do not understand how you thought it was a good idea to have sex so that you could save for a ring? Not a scratch my head moment. That was a plain statement of 'no wtf' moment because it's not on the same level. Their mess though not mine I'm here for the show and plus that is not the only reveal 🍿

This series was my introduction to K.L. Hall, and it did not disappoint. Though short, this series packs a punch, chile! The drama, mess, and plot twists had my head spinning the entire time. I couldn't catch my breath. I finished the first two books in one sitting and the third book in less than 24 hours. I was looking for something short, sweet, and holiday-themed to help me reach my reading goal for the year, and this did the trick. I can't wait to read more from this author.

My heart was racing the entire time I read this follow up!!!!! I am so glad this ended the way it did. Both Quinn & Knight deserved better than the people they were surrounded with in that drama-filled apartment. And I’m so happy all three of those shady so and so’s got tagged. They deserved!

Unexpected!
After reading the previous Potomac Falls Christmas short I wasn't expecting a follow-up. But I don't think book 1 can be topped when it comes to shock factor. This was entertaining nonetheless. And Jackson was still the ultimate fawk boy, even with his point of view introduced!

I am having a time finding Christmas joy in any of these recent holiday novellas. And the cake taker for me.
