Nabbed off ebay, this scarce little pamphlet is packed with details, including sketches and locations of important locations that are no longer there. Should I one day follow my dream of a pilgrimage, and should Covid restrictions ever allow such a thing, then this will be right a the top of my pile of books to plan my trip by.
This is a really cool guide that takes you along some of the real locations that inspired H.P. Lovecraft in his writing. Plus it's got absolutely gorgeous artwork.
The downside? It's just way too short, I'd love to read so much more about these sites because I'm sure there's so much more to tell.
Nevertheless, one day I plan to visit New England and see all these sites for myself. I'll be sure to take this cool li'l booklet with me.
I would given this guide five stars but for the fact it does not number the site information to correspond with the numbered map sites so you have to scounge around. Also some of the map sites are not mentioned at all in the text. Use the guide with the internet and you will do fine.
