Here’s a great way for Mom or Dad to spend quality time with their pre-schooler. Fun ideas abound in this bright, cheerful, color-illustrated book filled with quick-and-easy art projects for making posters and paper models. Parents can read instructions aloud to kids as they work together. The book’s introduction lists all needed equipment—glue, scissors, pencil, ruler, crayon or felt-tip pen, stickers, scraps of cloth, and various colors and types of paper. The book’s 28 projects fall into three farm animals; sea creatures; and cars, trains, and planes. Projects are focused to give younger children a real sense of achievement as they have fun creating paper or cloth cows, pigs, fish, whales, trains, trucks, airplanes, and even rocket ships!

This really is a book full of easy crafts, most of which you can make immediately with items in your home already. I like that it has a basic craft and then gives you a few ideas for making it harder for an older child. Variety of animals, plants, and vehicles. They range in materials. Also, the outcomes are varied, so they aren't all one dimensional items to hang on the fridge.
