Super Why and his friends fly into the fairy tale The Stars in the Sky to meet Ella, a young girl who is upset because she can’t play with the stars. While in the book they show Ella that she can play with the stars by using her imagination.
Like most of these books based on scripts this book comes up short and the story seems rushed. Most young readers familiar with the show probably won't know the difference. There is a decent message at the end of the book but it doesn't make up for it's short comings.
We definitely like Super Why in our household! It will be a while before we get this one from the library again though because Mommy had to read it over and over and over and over . . .
