One of my fave books this year my sis picked his up for me as she knows I love "Only fools and horses" and it was such a great read. From his humble beginnings as a child during the war, to his early years doing various jobs between acting, the hard work, the successes and hitting the big time and the subsequent fame which he struggles with being so shy and a private person who enjoys a lot of the simple things. Very modest and unassuming, a totally dedicated perfectionist in his work who speaks well of all those he has worked with and is an all round nice guy. This has made me appreciate him even more as an actor. A brilliant bio.
