A book similiar to Mutant Message from DownUnder. Using native american wisdom, it is a story of finding the discorant hum and healing it. A bit mystery and spirituality, there are some interesting passages.
When one holds on to fear and guilt, those feelings occupy the mind, taking up space that could be used by the Great Spirit. Release them into flowing water after dipping your offering in the water and the four directions, saying this water carries away my fears. In the book, this is done with a washcloth that is wrung out over the person's head who is releasing fear.
