Not a bad little book. Made me laugh in parts at the lengths people went to just to antagonise the nazi's. But also looks at the more sinister side such as the deportations for being an undesirable and the beatings and starvation for the slightest thing through to liberation and the way they got shafted once more but by their own government. Worth a read to learn about the only part if Britain to be invaded during the war.

An interesting and sobering account of Guernsey under occupation. Well written and a facet of British History that I knew little about. The author was a very brave man.
