I just recently bought this one in KL, it's kind of expensive compared to other books with similar topic. I hope by reading this one and Daniel Yergin's The Prize, I would get a glimpse of understanding of the complex relation of oil, politics & development theory.

This book helped me while I was preparing my thesis, which is related to this subject. and I would say it is ok and good source of data.
