Borrowed this book from the library. There are some useful chapters, some not so. The author does explain his concepts with examples, though some of these he feels are good, I just don't care for. He also uses a lot of multimedia. As I don't have full oils, acrylics, conte pencils, oil and chalk pastels, some examples are just not that useful to me. As a borrowed book, this is good. As a purchase, I would pass.
