Letters & Lettering; A Treatise with 200 Examples

Rate this book
Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.

Mine is the original 1921 edition, hardcover, in about as good condition as one could assume from a 1921 book. It smells like all good books should smell - musty and old. And the lettering information is quite excellent, also!

Pointless; no illustrations.

Let's face it, nobody wants this for its deathless prose. We want it for the gorgeous sample fonts it contains. Which this kindle edition... Does not include.

Skip it. Sorry.

No examples on my Kindle

Really great reading, exhaustive info but without the "Examples", the book is useless. A real bummer. It would be great if they fixed this!
