A very concise and interesting look at government policy in Canada. It uses economic and legal theory to illuminate the system that government uses to implement policy decisions. I picked this up for a college class but ended up reading the whole book before classes even began. I enjoyed how the author allowed his voice to come through, which is a rather rare event in the world of academic text books.
I'd recommend this book for anyone who wants to learn about the subject. I'd recommend reading this after reading an introductory economics textbook, however. It would also be good to supplement this book with a mainstream ethics books (any business ethics books that discusses utilitarianism and Kant would do) although there is a chapter on ethics in this book.
