4.5 rounded up. As the title suggests it's predominantly focussed on the work/family balance and the complications this brought to many women's lives. I would have liked for their to be more on things like sexuality rather than that side of things be fit into one chapter.
It's an interesting survey of the changes from the early 1970s until when the book was published in 1995. (so it doesn't cover the remainder of the decade) Good nuanced takes on the above issues.
