"Girl Against The Jungle" is a book written by Monica Vincent. On Christmas Eve, Suzzane and her mother took a plane in Lima, but it crashed in the Amazon Jungle because of a storm. Suzanne, a brave teenager, was the only survivor. However, she was not afraid because she knew how to survive in the jungle, as her parents had taught her how to do so. She walked along a river for more than three days, and though she was hungry and tired, she never gave up hope. Finally, she found some people who helped her. I like this book because it is based on a true story and the main character is brave, strong-willed and optimistic. Suzzane encouraged me to try to overcome problems, no matter how serious they can be. That's why I want to recommend this book to my friends.

The thing about this book that stuck with me is the part where the maggots lay eggs under the girl's skin. Of course, the baby maggots hatch at some point...
