American Lie

Rate this book
American Lie is a poetic journey towards the never-ending fantasy of love, riches, and perfection. Aware that not everyone is blessed with “happily-ever-after,” you’ll find comfort and compassion in this collection of poetry written about the pursuit of the American Dream. Lose yourself in passion as you almost feel what so many of our country’s families have experienced. Feel the ecstasy of love and the empty pain of divorce. Understand one nationality’s search for recognition, and the love shared by sisters. American Lie takes you to the height of romance, the depths of loneliness, and everything in-between. It is a love story of sorts, shared by Americans everywhere. Discover yourself in the pages of these emotion-filled poems. Written especially for the romantic, the author invites you to relax, pour yourself a glass of good wine, and become a part of the American Lie.
