This was a very helpful book. I wanted to know a little more about Elvis after seeing the latest movie and I was looking for a biography when I came across this book in my library's catalog. Elvis's interactions with the media were tightly controlled during his life, so there is no definitive biography. This book addresses his early music, his movies, his later music and Las Vegas shows. It provides a good overview. It would be interesting to see a newly updated version of this book with information about the 2022 movie Elvis in it.
