This was a very inspiring book to read. Each short chapter is written by a different mom and each one tells her story of praying for a troubled child - whether it was drug addiction, sexual abuse, trouble in school, friendships, straying for faith, etc. - it was the story of praying through those trials and how God worked through the prayers of the mom's group. Very powerful and inspiring!!

Part of me already knows it, but this book confirms it. I need other mamas around me in a community of prayful partnership. Being a mama is a task that is one of the most important jobs in the world and it is hard. Emotionally taxing and physically stressful at times, yet also incredibly sweet. Nurturing your child will have a large effect on the rest of their lives and praying with other mamas will help you accomplish your goals. As you can do all things through Christ and when gathered in his name he is there. All mamas should find time to read this little book and learn from what it has to share.

This book was hard to put down. It was extremely uplifting and encouraging. The chapters are less than 10 pages, so it was easy to read a quick chapter when you have a few minutes to spare.
