Kōhei Kadono (上遠野浩平 or Kouhei Kadono) is a Japanese author, best known for the Boogiepop series, which has also been adapted as a live action movie, manga and anime.
(Just my notes in AL of the entire series up until this 7th volume, because there weren't more translations for the next volumes at the time)
The second LN that I've ever read.
I already got used to reading these (kind of) and for some reason, the 5th volume has 37 chapters, so no I didn't read that many chapters in this series.
What I started to understand about LNs is that each volume is a new arc, and my favorite one in this was Boogiepop in the Mirror: Pandora, also the one I shed a tear for.
A good series, with an air of suspense in it, I'm just waiting for it to be translated.
there's one scene in the book where i just started hooting and hollering. kadono did it again and went to even higher highs. when boogiepop kicks ass it simply kicks ass. and the titular ghost isnt even in this one, he's missing!
This book was very good. Just like the ice cream the Peppermint Wizard makes, this story is bittersweet, but Tosuke is one of my favorite characters in the series now. I was gagged when I found out his real—actually, I can't say because I don't do spoilers, but I highly recommend reading this.
