This is an interesting look at the power of advertising. It is thought provoking and I think it is a worthwhile read as long as the reader keeps in mind the original publication date of 1988. I would love to read a similar examination of the current environment for advertising in light of the digital media and the collapse of most broad market print advertising.

Rather outdated now but an interesting history of where we’ve gotten to today in the world of highly targeted advertising on social media platforms. The whole Cambridge Analytica thing is nothing new and was something being geared up for decades ago.
