When I picked up this book - the title made me feel like I was re-entering into a bizarre 90’s Christianise flashback. I was wary.

What followed was anything but nonsense. As a Macquarie University professor Piggin has done the work to understand revival history in Australia and the world - delving deep into its triggers, curses and outcomes.

Rarely have I seen such a comprehensive and reasoned understanding the need, reality and hope for revival. I cannot recommend this book enough to anyone who longs for their to be a move of God in our time. It is a systematic unpacking of what that will look like and require.

Loved this book. So encouraged hearing God's revivals throughout my home country of Australia; learning on what Revival is, how the Bible is full of revival, and the cost of seeking revival
