My little sister, who is all grown up now, still vividly remembers approaching a pair of familiar grey trousers and looking up to see they didn't belong to her Dad but to a complete stranger. She was temporarily traumatised.
This book delightfully shows us the toddlers-eye-view of the world - all shoes and lower legs.
Cuffy is a cuddly toy tiger owned by Spencer, a small boy whose vision is a little hampered not only by his size but also by his cap. I liked this vicarious tour of New York city and reckon this story would be perfect for families setting of on a visit to New York. The game of finding Cuffy in each of the pictures will help small travellers enjoy the journey too.

Cuffy's New York City Adventure is a fun book with stunning illustrations!
Spencer leads us through an adventurous dream of New York City from Grand Central Station to Rockefeller Center pass vibrant skyscrapers to the New York Public Library and finally to his ultimate goal, the Statue of Liberty. It’s a delight to learn that Cuffy, Spencer’s plush tiger companion, is the real guide on this tour. If you look closely, you’ll find Cuffy at each of these places. And when Spencer tips his cap, like his mom tells him to do, what does he see? The big picture!
