A new case studies approach to teaching multicultural education which encourages a broad definition of multicultural, covering six groups and incorporating topics such as gender, disability, and sexual orientation
Multicultural Education was a good overview of the topic. It was understandable and included a lot of good information. However, the writing seemed a bit disjointed in places. It felt like the authors utilized one source at a time instead of integrating multiple sources into a smooth flow of content. The result is repetition and jumping back and forth between subtopics. Interestingly, while doing additional research on one topic, I found several paragraphs from the book identical to content on a website. Neither the book nor the website cited each other as sources, so I suspect there is another original source out there for those paragraphs. It was so identical for a long enough section that any of my students who had done that would have failed the class for plagiarism.
