The South Park Episode Guide – Volume 1: Seasons 1-5 is an in-depth and entertaining review of Comedy Central’s hit animated series. Each episode review is broken into several sections, including a plot summary, character debuts, pop culture references, memorable lines, body counts, and what characters learned (i.e. Stan’s “I learned something today”). Author Sam Stall does a good job at organizing the information into fun and interesting categories and provides a lot of behind-the-scenes information. Additionally, the pages are jam-packed with colorful artwork and screenshots from the episodes. An excellent television companion, The South Park Episode Guide – Volume 1: Seasons 1-5 is a must read for fans of the show.
