The way this book was written tells the story of why fishing is so captivating. While not saying it directly, the stories communicate the beauty of nature and the ability to see nature that we often miss in our day to day lives. Living and being present in the moment, fishing often forces on you, as you have to be focused on the now in order to catch the cagey trout. It was lovely recognizing many of the Michigan streams I have had the pleasure to fish myself.

Excellent read! Ted Williams, in his review said, "Pay attention to this collection. Savor it. Share it. It is outdoor literature, and it will last."
