Financial planners encounter all kinds of clients and cases . . . but rarely are they called upon to solve a murder. In Old Florida, gossip and intrigue hangs like Spanish moss in live oaks. Arthur, a local financial planner, makes a begrudging promise to provide financial advice to an eccentric orange grove owner. But before Arthur can finish sifting through the financial mess and develop a plan, he finds himself in the middle of a murder investigation. The case is riddled with problems. Locals are suspicious of him and hesitant to cooperate, estranged family members are in dire need of money and developers would have killed for the land before the real estate market shifted. Arthur is compelled to dig for clues and closely dodges some unsettling experiences for his efforts to solve the murder.
