I was SO looking forward to this book. There are very few equestrian romances out there. It wasn't far into it that I realized it wasn't going to be quite what I expected, but that wasn't a bad thing. Liked the characters, the premise, the plot. In fact, I was really, really enjoying it until the author had to throw in sex scenes. Why is it that some people would take a perfectly wonderful story and book and ruin it with that? Too bad. It would've been 4 stars easy . . . maybe even 5. (For those who want to chance it anyway, there are really only two scenes, and they're skippable--it's just too bad they're in there in the first place.
