As with most books like this, it depends what your problem is as to whether or not it will be helpful to you. This is a book about understanding your motivation for writing, along with expectations for various aspects related to the writing process. It was very helpful to me, and I appreciated it a great deal. This is more about understanding why you are not writing, or why you do not enjoy writing, and how to address that.
If you're looking for the technical side of writing, this is definitely not the book for you. I would recommend Ursula K. LeGuin's Steering the Craft for exercises on technique if that is what you're looking for.
